As part of our ongoing wine dinner series, we’re welcoming Sugrue South Downs, one of England’s most exciting and talked about producers.
Founded by Dermot and Ana Sugrue, the Sussex based winery has built a cult following for its small production wines, particularly its complex, long aged sparkling cuvées grown on chalk soils across the South Downs. Known for their distinctive approach and strong sense of personality, the wines have become some of the most sought-after in England.
Angela has followed Sugrue’s journey for some time, and their wines now sit proudly on the lists across our restaurants.
For the evening, we’ll be showcasing two of their standout sparkling wines, Rock Story and The Trouble With Dreams, followed by still wines Bonkers and Dear Noodles, finishing with a cocktail featuring their own Precognition gin.
Dermot and Ana will be joining us on the night alongside Angela. Expect a lively evening with plenty of personality.
