Our very first wine dinner at Cafe Murano Marylebone
Continuing the series, we turn to Tenuta Fertuna, the Tuscan estate behind Angela Hartnett’s own wines and the olive oils used across Cafe Murano and Murano.
Set in the heart of the Maremma, Tenuta Fertuna produces wines with real character, alongside exceptional olive oils that are a staple in our restaurants.
We’ll start with a tasting of the olive oils we use every day before moving into the wines, beginning with Droppello Metodo Classico, already on our list, bright, crisp and a strong opener, followed by Vermentino Orange, with texture and grip, alongside Angela’s own rosé that we serve across our restaurants, fresh, dry and made for easy drinking. The reds follow with Lodai Rosso, smooth and generous, before Messiio Rosso, deeper, darker and more structured, finishing with a cocktail built around their Vermouth Etrusco Rosso.
The menu will follow the same direction, with pumpkin, game and mushrooms featured throughout.
A lively evening shaped around exceptional wines and the people behind them.
